MACPool Officially Reopens!
29 August 2022

We were excited to see this weekend the official reopening of the MACPool Community Swimming Pool in Lochgilphead, following the reopening in May earlier this year.  The construction project involved the extension of the changing facilites, a new entrance lobby and reception area, cafe, and soft play room.

Bruach Architects worked on the project from Planning Permission stage through to construction, undertaking the roles of architect, lead consultant, Principal Designer, and contract administrator.  Funding for the project was provided by the National Lottery Community Fund, the Regeneration Capital Grant Fund, and the Robertson Trust, among others.  More images of the completed building can be seen on our portfolio page.

We were delighted to work with an expert project team including Macleod Construction, Armour Construction Consultants, Clancy Consulting, and Kilbryde Consulting Engineers.  More information on the opening event itself can be read on the MACPool website here – https://macpool.org.uk/2022/08/29/official-opening-event/
