Business As Usual
17 March 2020

At Bruach we thought now was a good time to let you know how we, as architects, are doing our best to keep doing our job during the COVID-19 outbreak.

We understand that the current global situation is challenging for everyone, and that we all need to make changes to our working practices to keep each other safe, in line with recent government guidance.

The Bruach team have done as many offices have, and divided up to work from our own homes.  Thankfully the technology we have in place puts us in a good position to be able to work this way and to continue to provide the same high quality service to our clients.

We may not be able to visit you in person in the coming weeks to discuss your project, but we are able to video chat to run through design options, discuss next steps or to catch up on progress.  During these sessions we can screenshare to show you the 3D model of your project and we can make design changes during the call. We find this is actually really productive.  If you want to get in touch to arrange a video chat session please let us know and we can get a time in the diary.

Work on all of our projects will keep progressing as best we can, and we have the same functionality on laptops as we do in the office. We can still work on models and drawings, prepare design options, and prepare Planning and Building Warrant applications during this time.  Statutory applications are submitted online these days, so we can do that remotely too, and deal with any technical queries as they arise.

Hopefully this helps to assure our clients that we are continuing with our projects as we would if we were in the office, but please feel free to contact either Director if you want to discuss anything.

We hope that all of our clients, colleagues, and their families and friends continue to stay safe, happy and healthy.
