Making a Splash in Lochgilphead
17 July 2020

We were delighted to hear this week that we have been appointed to progress the design work for the Mid Argyll Community Pool in Lochgilphead. The project will build on the popular community swimming pool, converting it into a health and wellbeing community hub for local residents and visitors.

The works will involve a new community café, larger and more accessible changing rooms, a soft play area, multi-purpose rooms for community use, and a reconfigured foyer. Funding for the project has recently been confirmed by the National Lottery, adding to funding already committed by the Scottish Government Regeneration Capital Grants Fund and The Robertson Trust. It’s amazing to see so much support for this important development!

Working with our team of Armour Construction Consultants, Clancy Consulting and Kilbride Consulting Engineers, we will develop the detailed proposals, prepare and submit the Building Warrant application, produce the tender documents for contractors, and administer the contract when the works are on site.

We can’t wait to get started on this exciting project, and are looking forward to the beautiful scenery on the way to Lochgilphead!

The project was recently featured in the local press – https://www.argyllshireadvertiser.co.uk/2020/07/10/pool-project-takes-plunge-after-lottery-lift/
