Delighted to See Works Complete at Gourock!

Posted 28 September 2018 by Bruach Architects

On Friday we visited one of our completed projects in Gourock and were delighted to receive the seal of approval from our client’s 2 year old daughter! It was lovely to witness the family enjoying their new family room and patio area with a new space to cook, eat and enjoy family time together.

The brief was to remove the existing lean-to extension which was cold and damp and generally unfit for purpose, and create a new extension to form an open plan kitchen, dining and living space with additional pantry and ground floor shower room. The client wanted to bring as much light into the house as possible which we did by adding a rooflight and internal slot window between the dining and pantry space.

It was also important to form a new level patio area to allow the family to make the best use of their rear garden which they had finished just in time for our lovely spell of weather this summer!
